M 8 - Lagoon Nebula (Alternate)

Show astrometry data

The Lagoon Nebula (M8) is an emission nebula in the constellation Sagittarius, approximately 4,000-6,000 light years from Earth. For us in Thailand, objects in the Sagittarius Milky Way arrive late in our imaging season. We were fortunate to collect this data before the 2017 rainy season kicked in full gear.
